Fred M. Khouri

Biography

Fred Khouri is a PhD student in the Department of Operations Research and Industrial Engineering at UT Austin. He is advised by Professor Omar Ghattas and works within the OPTIMUS research group. He holds a Master of Science in Financial Engineering from Imperial College London and a Bachelor of Engineering in Civil Engineering with a minor in Economics from the American University of Beirut. His research focuses on inverse problems, digital twins, and optimal control for systems governed by partial differential equations, with applications in finance and physical systems.
